I am web and graphic design professional currently living on Long Island. I have a Master of Professional Studies degree in Digital Media and Interactive Design. My creative and technical experience includes web design and maintenance, online marketing, and custom graphics.
I have been involved in the design and creation of a number of websites. My clients and employers have ranged from nonprofit organizations such as WEATOC, Pueblo Community Land Trust, and Second Congregational Church to small businesses such as Tibbett's Pet Care. On these projects, I performed the initial site layout and graphic design using the Adobe Creative Suite, then created the sites by hand in HTML, CSS and JQuery. I have also worked in an implementation capacity on large-scale corporate and nonprofit websites using standard web design tools as well as custom-themed WordPress. See my resume page for more details.
My graphic design projects have involved a wide variety of tools in the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. The examples you see here include theater posters, company and product logos, a nonprofit postcard, and a user interface for a web application. Many of the coporate logos and posters I have made in the past include my own custom digitally-drawn graphics. In addition to the work shown here, I have designed and created privately-distributed marketing materials for corporate clients in the technology industry.
This is a user interface design I made for Leshy Tuner, a web-based guitar tuner application. Leshy Labs developed this HTML5 application, which uses audio input to display pitch and frequency information to users. The interface design was made to resemble physical guitar tuner devices. It includes two states for an on/ off switch and two states for red and green bulb images which appear to light up to indicate when a note is on or off key.
